Kuhlmann Associates Financial, a wealth management firm that has been part of the Carson Partners network since 2016, is adopting the Carson Wealth brand. The business operates from California’s Napa Valley area.
Kuhlmann and his team serve affluent families, business owners, executives and institutions, and manage more than $100 million in assets for families in 32 states.
Founder and chief executive of the eponymous firm, Kent Kuhlmann, retains active majority ownership of the business and is “strategic decision-maker for all business decisions and operations in the Napa office,” Carson Partners said in a statement late last week.
Kuhlmann graduated from San Diego State University and started his career in the financial services industry in 1982 with Western Financial Planning in Solana Beach, California. He is a graduate of Leadership Napa Valley, a non-profit leadership emersion program sponsored by the city’s mayor and Chamber of Commerce.
Carson manages around $16 billion in assets and serves more than 36,000 families through its advisory network, including 26 Carson Wealth offices. Carson Wealth, which was founded in 1983, has its headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska.
In March this publication reported that Main Street Financial Life Advisors, a wealth management firm with more than $163 million in assets under management, had joined Carson Partners.
