Texas-based Kestra Financial has added RS Will Wealth Management of Frederick, Maryland, to its platform.
The business comes from Merrill Lynch Wealth Management and has rebranded, Kestra said in a statement.
The team is composed of William Coffey, Mark Mayer, Paul McArthur, and Morgan “Alex” Kelly. They oversee $1.0 billion of assets under management, working with high net worth individuals, families, business owners and non-profit organizations. The firm was founded in 1972.
Kestra is situated in the “Silicon Hills” of Austin, Texas, and supports more than 1,700 independent financial professionals. It is majority-owned by private equity house Warburg Pincus. In July 2019, Kestra created Bluespring Wealth Partners, a business to buy RIAs and other wealth managers.
