RBC Expands Omaha Branch With String Of Morgan Stanley Hires

Canada’s RBC Wealth Management has strengthened its Omaha, NE, office, appointing five financial advisors and three client associates from Morgan Stanley in a move which adds $758 million in assets under management. Joining the Omaha branch as financial advisors are: Jason Judge, first vice president; Matt Rose, vice president; Ken Ferrarini, senior vice president; Steve Ferrarini, associate vice president; and Scott Leinen, first vice president . Meanwhile, Laura Kolasky, Barbara Essi and Kelly Blankenship start as senior client associates.

Net income at Royal Bank of Canada's wealth management business rose from C$156 million (about $157.1 million) in the third quarter to C$207 million at the end of October - up 16 per cent year-on-year and 33 per cent on the prior quarter.

Canada's RBC Wealth Management has appointed Ayesha Yasin as an advisor in Washington, DC, this publication can confirm. A spokesperson told Family Wealth Report that Yasin joined from Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, with $116 million in assets under management and $972,000 in production . In other recent moves, last week Harold Langer of the Langer O’Neill Investment group was hired as a senior vice president and financial advisor at the Tucson, AZ, office.

RBC Wealth Management Adds To Miami Team - Report

RBC Wealth Management International, a division serving high net worth clients in Latin America, the Caribbean and the US, has hired Nicolas Seigal as branch director in Miami, OnWallStreet reports. Seigal was formerly associate director of Merrill Lynch’s Miami complex and has been in the industry 18 years, having also worked in Uruguay with Merrill Lynch and BankBoston . At RBC, he takes on responsibility for 13 advisors in the Miami office and a further eight in New York until a branch manager can be found for that office, the report says.

Canada’s RBC Wealth Management has brought in two advisor teams from Merrill Lynch Wealth Management at its Leawood, KS, branch, according to complex director Mark Borcherding. Financial advisors Todd Haynes and Thomas Woodward represent the Haynes & Woodward Investment group, while Scott Holder and Jason Carter form part of the Holder/Carter group . The Haynes & Woodward Investment group, with $130 million in assets under management, has over 20 years of combined experience, and the Holder/Carter group - with $80 million in AuM - has nearly 30 years of industry experience.
